Sherwoods offer a range of marine binoculars suitable for all types of navigation. Marine models generally have enlarged porro prisms giving a wide field, large depth of focus, are fully waterproof & nitrogen gas filled to eliminate 'misting' and are protected with thick rubber armouring.

Opticron Marine series binoculars are 100% made in Japan, fully nitrogen gas filled waterproof to render them splash proof as well as helping to eliminate problems of condensation in often harsh environments. Protection from the inevitable knocks and bumps associated with sometimes severe use are derived from brace mounted prism assemblies combined with thick and highly durable rubber armouring.
